Can someone please help me with this.
Scenario:
File -> PI -> JDBC
Within PI I want to perform two mappings on the incoming message i.e take the file input and perform mapping one. Then take the result of mapping one and feed this into mapping two. The result will then be written to the database.
i.e. input file -> Mapping 1 -> Mapping 2 -> Write to database
Is it possible to do this without having to write the intermediate result to a file for example?
Thanks.
Yes....you can do
Create 2 message mapping (3 message type MT1,MT2,MT2)
1 Message mapping : Mapping between MT1 and MT2
2 Message mapping : Mapping between MT2 and MT3
Now create only one interface mapping and use both message mapping in sequence

To execute multiple mapping programs for one request or one response sequentially, enter the mapping programs in the table on the corresponding tab page using Add button in Interface Mapping(+). The steps are executed in the sequence specified (from top to bottom). The result of the mapping program from the previous step is forwarded to the mapping program of the subsequent step.

Hi Krishneel,
Yes, it is very much possible.
You have to create 2 message mappings and one interface mapping only.
In interface mapping, use your mappings in the required sequence.
But please be sure that the output message type of first mapping and input message type of second mapping are same.
