Hi All,
We are planning to upgrade our SQL from 2005 to 2008. We have Dev-Qas-Prd landscape running ECC6. I would like to know if it is advisable to still allow transport of change requests if our Dev is SQL 2008 while Prd is still SQL 2005? I haven't been able to find any specific info. If anyone could advise or provide link then that would be much appreciated. I need to provide definitive answer back to the business.
We are running on Windows Server 2003, which will remain after SQL upgrade.
Thanks in advance,
George
SAP transport requests are platform independant. It only depends on your SAP release.
So you can transport between different DB versions.
