Consumption Groups

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience using Consumption Groups in APO? I am trying to utilize this functionality but the consumption piece does not seem to be working. After I release the forecast to SNP, I can see that there is a forecast against that specific customer in /SAPAPO/DMP1. However, after I create a sales order the forecast is not consumed (it does not appear in the allocated field)

In the Maintain Consumption Group in configuration I have maintained the following:

DP Chars Fld. Catalog

9ALOCNO WERKS

9AMATNR MATNR

DP_CUST KUNNR

Will you please elaborate the planning strategy you are using ?

On the APO side I am using requirements strategy 20. On the SAP side, I am using the planning strategy 40.
