We have customized one of our shipping points in such a way that it is prepared for route scheduling. We have done this in the customize path Shipping / Basic Shipping Functions / Scheduling / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling.
We are trying to define route scheduling for spesific customers using the transaction VL51
Example
Route schedule D0002-MAN Route D0002 Monday
Route D0002 GI day 1 Monday GI time 10:00
Shipping pt 8010 Itinerary maintained
Determine route sched.
Ship-to paName Unloading Point ShTranYearPer
8002860 Michael Laudrup AS 010001
This works correct. On the sales order the positions are scheduled to next monday.
We have however problems with defining route scheduling for customers wanting deliveries twice a week. In VL51 it is only possible to choose one weekday.
Can anybody help us to solve this problem
Best regards
Reidar
Hi Reidar,
you can go to LO>Shipping>basic shipping functions>scheduling>define scheduling and maintain working hours. You need to maintain your plan as shifting plan according to your shipping point working time scheduling by this way.
After that, you can use this shipping point scheduled by this way for your specific customer when creating route schedule from the VL51 t-code.
I hope this will meet your requirement on route schedule.

Sinan

Hello Reidar
In that case you need to set up one more route schedule by copying the existing one and entering another day (say Thursday) and time . That's what the help says and I quote:
"A route schedule can leave the warehouse exactly once in a week. If a route schedule runs several times, either on several days or several times a day, it must be copied to another route schedule."
Secondly, can you not work with Unloading Points, factory calendar and goods Receiving Hours in the General data of customer master data?
Just checking.
Hope this helps.
