Hi Mateus,
You rock, thanks for that response.
I just observed that we need to refer System Copy Manual for NW 7.0 SR3 as we are in solution manager 7.0 s that right ?
I don't know how to identify the SR release of solution manager 7.0 (Net weaver 7.0).
I also believe that TADM70 for WAS 640 can be used to perform this activity as procedure is same.
Please, throw some lights on this as it will be of great help.
Appreciate your help & thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Viswanathan Subramanian
I discussed your doubt with my senior colleagues and the recommendations are the following.
1) Upgrade the source system to EHP1 firstly and execute the migration
OR
2) Execute the migration and upgrade to EHP1
Check if this database version is supported with Netweaver 701.
Follow these notes below for both cases.
1238351 - Hom./Het.System Copy SAP NW 7.0 incl. Enhancement Package 1 => Solman 7.0 EHP1
1120872 - Hom./Het.System Copy SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 => Solman 4.0

Dear Mateus,
Thanks for your reply I will check these SAP notes.
We have decided to do migration first then upgrade to EHP1 along with DB2 9.7 upgrade.
In the mean time please give me ur ideas on the following questions ?

2. I understood that we need to register with SAP for receiving the migration key and also to get the installation kit required in this case?
3. Kindly provide me some approx expected compltion time for this activity as we believe it can be completed in 2-3 days.
