CUP - parameter settings

Hi,

I would just like to know if there is a template to maintain default parameter settings which can be used to upload into CUP. My client uses many default parameters and this is rather time consuming to maintain one by one.

Please advise. Any advise is highly appreciated.

Hi,

The is no templete avaiable in CUP for default paramaters. But in RAR you can find it in

RAR--> Configuration --> Utilities --> export

You can export the configuration then import the configuration data into another system.

Although the default parameters cannot be managed via an upload some fo the configuration settings can be. Workflow for example can be updated using import / exports of files to speed up the configuration processes.

Hi Mo,

I totally agree on this. I had to also set up lots of user defaults and parameter ids in CUP and there is no way around it. I checked with SAP and you can not upload/import this information unless you want to write to database tables directly.
