tr request import issue in portal, RC12(localization issue,stackoverflow)

Hello gurus,

i am facing a critical issue during import, our development team has developed some object and they are trying to import it in to QA system, it is a portal environment. and the issue is a return code 12 and the more clear issue text is given below. could some one throw some light on this issue.

--- Aug 25, 2010 1:17:50 PM Error: Aborted: development component 'portalcontent0'/'pcd'/'epa_converter'/'20100830125700080'/'0'

Caught exception during application deployment from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy service:

java.rmi.RemoteException: Cannot deploy application pcd/portalcontent0..

Hello Akhil,

Thank you for the traces. Normally the StackOverflowError occurs when the VM settings are not set properly or not the right JDK version is used. To solve the problem I suggest you 2 things:

1.- First of all updade the JDK to the latest version available. (What is your OS?)

2.- If the above does not help then try to increase the stacksize of the JVM.

By default the stacksize is 256K which might not be sufficient. You may increase the stack size e.g. -Xss2M, -Xss3M or -Xss4M.

Hi,

I think you are using the SDM to deploy your application in the portal, it use the SDm to deploy the same so check the sdm log for more info.

Also check your SDM is started or not, then check your administrator user is locked or not it locked then unlock it.

Can you please paste the whole exception. It must contain a "caused by" or a "Reason:" so that we can know more about the exception.
