can we create one sales return for many sales order type.like i have sales order type OR1,OR2,OR3,OR4,OR5.can it pe be possible to create a sales return for all order type in single return process

Dear Preet 123,

Yes it is certainly possible. But before you proceed, ensure you have maintained proper copy control for all those doc types which you want to create the return order for.

In VA01 after giving the return order type and sales area, system will ask for reference (either billing doc number or order number). In your case , give one Order reference and select "copy". Now it will take you to the main screen. Select "Sales Document" on top and "Create with Reference" so that again it will ask for document reference. Giver another order reference document and you can now see that the number of line items in the return order will increase.

Ideally the sales area should be unique and also it is a best practice to create a return sale order referencing the parent billing document and not the parent sale order.
