Dear All,
We are importing some scenarios from a PI server 6.40, sp level 005(PI-BASIS , Release 2005_1_640, Level 005,SAPKIPYJ65) to PI Server 7.0(PI-BASIS,Release 2005_1_700, Level 0014,SAPKIPYJ7E).
All the IR objects are succefully imported but the when we try opening the ID objects after importing , error occurs , saying
#18 10:23:46 [AWT-EventQueue-0] ERROR com.sap.aii.utilxi.swing.toolkit.ExceptionDialog: Throwable
Thrown:
MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.rb_all.ROA_MOA_NOTCOMPLETED

Detailed information: Software component version with GUID ************ does not exist.
After some analysis we understood that this problem is because of the SAP BASIS SWCV version mismatch in both the servers.
Now we are trying to import the SAP BASIS SWCV 6.40 into PI 7.0 Server (SP 0014), which already has a SAP BASIS SWCV 7.0.
If we import this(SWCV 6.4), would there be any problem to our existing scenarios which uses the channels with adapter metadata 7.0.
Please provide me any SAP note so that we can confirm on this.
Many Thanks,
Aditya.
Hi
Unable to read object Adapter Metadata SOAP
This might be due to the difference in the Adapter metadata available in SAP BASIS componet.
Import the SAP BASIS componet in new PI box and check if it works.see if the below link helps
If you have all the IR objects in place, then in the new system you can create the connections using the config wizard.
I think that would be the better option.

Hi Srinivas,
Thanks for the reply.
Does the importing of BASIS SWCV 6.4 into 7.0 Server effect the existing interfaces, the channels, adapter metadata?
Is there any note as such for a confirmation? A proper note or a message from SAP would confirm us to implement this.
Manually creating the ID objects can't be the solution.
Regards,
Aditya
Basically you must import first the SAP BASIS SWCV 6.40 to match the previous objects on the new PI 7.0 server. After importing the objects, change the adapter metadata version to version 7.0.
