Lock table overflow

Guys,

We have R/3 4.7 E system on oracle 9i. While we doing the archiving,we get enque error like lock table is overflown.

Please advise

Susan,

Here you can solve the problem in two ways

1) increase the size of the lock table via parameter

enque/table_size

2) or increase the enque work processes from 1 to 2 or 3

via parameter rdisp/wp_no_enq
