NW701 EHP1 installation issue at phase 29 i.e. start java engine

Dear experts,

I am trying to install NW701 EHP1 at virtual PC windows XP on windows 7. This virtual XP machine has more than 2 GB RAM. The installation is failing at phase 29 with error message 'java processes of instance BHD/JC00 did not reach partrunning state.. giving up after 30 minutes'.

Pls let me know what is wrong or any solution to this issue.

Hi,

Have you checked the installation guide for minimum amount of RAM requirement for installation ? 4 GB minimum RAM required and u have only 2 GB.

Sunny, first of all thanks for your reply. I tried with 2.92 GB RAM and it worked.
