Hello,
I'm trying to do a lookup using graphical JDBC lookup in PI 7.11. I have a below question:
Let say I want something like
SELECT COL1 from tablename where COL2 ='ABC' and COL3 Not Equal to '123' .
Is it possible to have not equal to operator in JDBC lookup?
I hope my question make sense.
Thanks!
For mapping-lookup using the JDBC adapter graphically, You can formulate simple SELECT statements using the editor for this function but you cannot specify the NOT operator in this editor.
in your case you can use the mapping lookup API in a used-defined function of a message mapping and the special API for database calls (DataBaseAccessor).
for details refer http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/cf/406642ea59c753e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Hi Haj.
You can use the function boolean NOT in Message Mapping, before the JDBC LOOKUP.
Follow the link with Lookup funcionality: /people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/15/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-graphical-support-for-jdbc-and-rfc-lookups

Use < < for not equal, it should work.
(problem typing the "<" for the right side, hope you understand what I mean to say)
