Files not picked up automatically from ready folder from MDM by PI MDM Adap

Hello Experts,

We are sending master data from MDM 7.1 system via PI 7.1 system to SAP ECC system. The Sydnication from MDM system is automatic and the files are being syndicated successfully from MDM system and getting dumped in the Ready folder of the port.

But the Sender MDM PI adapter is not picking up the files from the folder.

The communication channel status in Communication channel monitoring is green and 'data control' is Automatically.

However the file is getting picked up if we stop and then start the channel but not automatically.

Please Help!

The problem got solved after I did the CPA cache refresh.

This is because of unexpected termination of MDS, the MDM connections and or events are in an invalid state and not behaving correctly. please upgrade to MDM sp05, copying from the SAP note below-

Solution-

- Restart the MDM ADAPTER java component:

Login into the NWA (NetWeaver Administrator) on the relevant AS Java engine, go to System Management->Administration, restart the application named "tc_mdmadapter~svc".

- A solution which includes an automatic recovery from this state is expected in MDM 7.1 SP05 as part of the MDM JAVA API.

Are you running on MDM 7.1 SP04 version?????

I feel, this is a known problem with MDM 7.1 SP04. And solution is to Restart the MDM ADAPTER java component.

To do so, login into the NWA (NetWeaver Administrator) on the relevant AS Java engine, go to System Management->Administration, restart the application named "tc_mdmadapter~svc".
