Characteristic Value Error in Profitability Analysis

Hi,

I am trying to release the invoice to accounting document through VF02, i am getting the below error, Anyone came accross such error.

Characteristic value XXXXX does not exist for characteristic PAPH3 (ProdHier01-3)

Message no. KE0C133

Diagnosis

The characteristic "PAPH3" ("ProdHier01-3") should be posted to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). When the system checked the entries, it was established that the transferred characteristic value (" XXXX") is not valid in CO-PA.

System Response

The data is not consistent and therefore cannot be transferred to CO-PA.

Procedure

With the function Maintain Characteristic Values, you can add characteristic values to those that are valid.

Looks like characterstic value XXX which was determined during billing process doesnt exist when release is happening. Please go to transaction KES1 and check if value is maintained against the characterstic, else maintain the value and release to Accounting.

Thanks, I have already gone through KES1, where i can see the fixed and referenced characteristics, but does not allow me to maintain it.
