ATP Tab is not populating with Check mode and ATP group while CIFing

Hi,

DP and snp has been implemented. Now we are implementing GATP. When i CIF the product with ATP check ticked in CFM1 then ATP group and Check mode in /sapapo/mat1 is not being populated.

I tried to maintain the ATP group and check mode in APO side manually and tried the availibility check and it is giving me the error 'ATP groups could not be read for product 8104AQRDN00101 at location KA01' .

Can you please help.

Biswajit,

You need to perform ATP config in APO before you think about bringing across the supporting master data. Many people who are beginning their first effort at ATP in APO use the CIF item "ATP customizing" to bring across data from the ECC ATP customizing into APO. If, however, you have existing ATP configuration entries already in APO, and you do not wish to overwrite them, then you can manually create the required customization entries.

There is a sequence of steps to be performed to implement GATP in APO, just like there is for DP and SNP. A good guide to getting started in SCM ATP is SAP Best practices. Since you have already done SNP, you can mostly ignore "Connectivity'. You can use the core interface to force the ATP group and check mode across, depending on your ERP strategy, or you can manually update the product masters, whichever is easier for you.

For the remaining Best practices, you can probably begin with "GATP' and probably 'BOP".
