Commitment item 0001/0000//0000400000

Dear Viewers,

I am working on Funds Management. I am getting the following error " Commitment item 0001/0000//0000400000 does not exist".

But I have created the commitment Item "400000". in the same FM area, even though i am getting the error.

I have checked all the nodes, but there is no solution for this.. I suppose, some nodes are available to correct this prefix "0000".

I would be great help if i will get solution for this..

Hi,

That message means that either you don't have created that posting address or budget address.

Check if budget address was previously created with FMBSBOS

Check if posting address was previously created with FMBSPOS

if they don't exist, create them if you are real sure this are the right budget addresses to create your postings

This issue has been solved by maintaining the character in the FMDERIVE rules.

Hi Aswin,

That means that you didn't need your address but needed to link that GL account to a different address.
