How to search for transactions assigned to a particular role in PFCG?

Hi all,

I have been given a task to identify the transactins to which the roles are assigned.

All I have is the role list, & all the Roles begin with SAP_BPR. When I am in the 'PFCG' transaction & copy the role & try to display it, the message displayed is - 'The role SAP_BPR_XYZ does not exist. please do guide me how to view transaction for a role( Mention as such by explaining the path). I have also tried seaching the role but the list does not display any of the given roles. For sake of convenience I am pasting the roles on this thread. All I have done earlier is to assign roles by generating it & assigning it to the particular user.

SAP_BPR_AP_CLERK-K

SAP_BPR_AP_CLERK-S1

SAP_BPR_AP_CLERK-S2

SAP_BPR_AR_CLERK-K

SAP_BPR_AR_CLERK-S1

SAP_BPR_AR_CLERK-S2

SAP_BPR_BE_WAREH_SPECIALIST-E

SAP_BPR_BR_SALESPERSON-S2

SAP_BPR_SALESPERSON-E

SAP_BPR_US_FINACC-K

SAP_BPR_WAREHOUSESPECIA_CPWD-S

Please do tell me the method , so I can vrify all the transactions for all the roles stated above. Seeking your reply as early as possible

Thanks

M. Nizam

Hi,

You can check transaction assigned in a role with transaction SUIM. Go to SUIM, select transactions by Role and there you can check. Also, all roles starting from SAP* are standard roles.

Thanks

Hi sunny,

Many thanks for the initial guidance, But as soon as I am executing it in SIUM( path - SUIM<transactions<executable by roles<input role<execute). I am getting a message that the role does not exist( at the bottom of sap easy access screen). I am still stuck in same dilemma. Awaiting your response,

Thanks & regards,

M. Nizam

It seems the role exist in ther sustem but the profile for that role are no generate.

Go to PFCG, Put you role name and Genrate profile.

Then go to SUIM you should be able to search everything about the roles you want.

Hi,

Since the roles which you are looking for are SAP standard roles and by default profiles are not generated for these roles. That is the reason you are not able to find it.

Thanks

Sunny

Hi People,

I have found the solution to the problem. Before I tell you about it, I have awarded basic(2) points to all the persons who have commented on my answer.

You have to take a ABAPER'S help for this. Go to Se16, opt for multiple selection from top-right tab. Goback to the authorization matrix. Copy and paste it inthe selected multiple roles and execute. All the roles can now be seen together. Once again execute by the sign of 'clock'( 2nd time). So you get a list of Authorisations. Never ever try this on IDES system as It wont display.

Thanks & regards,
