During posting goods movement in SAP R/3 the strutured article should explode and not during GRN at Store.How can we do this

Hello,

I hope some of the folowinginformation can be useful for you.

The physical inventory (movements 701/702) does not explode the

structured article.

- When you explode a structured article on goods receipt, the

components are in the warehouse and not the structured article

itself. In this case the components should be counted.

- When the structured articles are not explode on goods receipt, the

structured article itself should be counted.

This is only possible for material movements where you

set the procurement variant to be automatically exploded into the

sales variant.

Path : Logistics - General -> Material Master -> Retail Specific

Settings -> Settings for Strucured Materials -> Structured Article in

Logistics Process.

Thanx Olivia for your response.But setting parameters in configuration will help to explode the article during GRN at site/DC.I do not want to explode the article during GRN.I want the article inventory to be posted by exploding during 251 movement.?????

Hi Sai,

Please check the setting in IMG for your Material Category

Logestics-General-> MM-> Retail-Specific Settings-->Settings for Structured Materials->Structured Material in Logistics Process. Hope this helps for you.
