You are of course pardoned and so glad you chose to discuss it here and learn rather than leave insulted.

We have similar requests about formatting for blogs. We recommend using h4-6 rather than h1-3 even for headings as larger fonts translate to screaming. Thanks for letting us clarify that for you.

Actually there was a board meeting about your behaviour today. Even the BOBJ management who have no idea about the issue flew in from all over the world to talk about rebranding your user ID, or not.

I think the meeting is still going on, but hopefully there will be a press release later this evening or tomorrow morning.

My suggestion to the executives when I briefed them at the airport was to give it another week on probation and all moderators issued the SDN 007 license-to-delete during this time.

Normally they listen to me (except on the topic of product names...

I think Marilyn pardoned you and Julius said that it would last about a week. So why don't you post away, abiding by the rules and in a week we'll see how it works out for you.

I concur.

Remember, you didn't make mistakes - you broke the rules. The rules are clear. And it is your responsibility to read the rules and to abide by them. It wasn't a mistake, it was a choice.

I suggest:

1. Stop posting with your "other" account

2. Do not make any posts consisting of just links

3. Do not answer posts which are very basic questions, ask for documents or links, or in other ways breach the rules.

4. Do not make posts that are substantially copied from someone elses work.

5. Do not break any of the other rules.

Then in one week's time, we'll review the situation. Personally, I'm a big fan of mercy and giving people chances. Please don't let us down.

I was one of those who voted in your favour at the General body meeting. Since you got a majority, your account is safe.... for a week at least.

The concerning thing for you now is that, there are more eyes spying on your every post. So stick to the rules with every post.

What tipped the balance in favour was Cliff Barnes's compromise that one more intentional copy&paste job with any account would be sufficient to delete all of them.

Even JR agreed to this

Marilyn's pardon was for h1 use exclusively. Those that break the participation rules are subject to the consequences. @Rajeev - seems like the moderators are more than patient here so look to those rules and follow them.
