Hi experts
I'm updating the kernel netweaver, but I have a problem with the command LODSAPKRN
Run the command
LODSAPKRN DEV (* STMF) MNTPNT ('/ KERN') KRNLIB (SAPSIDUKRN) userdef (* YES) LIST ('/ KERN / PARTS.file')
LODSAPKRN DEV (* STMF) MNTPNT ('/ KERN') KRNLIB (SAPSIDUKRN) userdef (* YES) LIST

LodSapKit: Failed to restore from archives Below kernel parts / KERN

There were errors in the mandate
I extracted the files manually but without adding a parameter to the SAPC.
SAPCAR PARMLIST ('-xvf / kern / sapexe.sar
-R / kern / ')
That is not the parameter-flat and if it is really necessary
Thanks

Hi William
I am not so sure, but it may be that its is having trouble reading the parts file.
Did you edit the file thru windows and transferred it to the iseries??
I would just try to create the file directly on the iSeries and try it again..
Also look at the joblog to see if it created any spool file for you to investigate...
Let us know.
Thanks
Abhi

HI
No, I created the parts file with EDTF I had a problem with parts file becouse the iseries dont read the file without extension. I created the parts file with the name "parts.file", the problem is when the LODSAPKRN call to sapcar.
The SAPCAR is not working
How find the spool files?
Thanks for your reply
