"Note to Approver" field is "locked" in Step 3-Complete and Order (SC)

Hi Experts,

We just upgraded from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0 and doing post upgrade test.

When creating a SC in Step 3, "Complete and Order" the "note to approver" field is locked/frozen. So we are not able to write any notes to the approver...

Does anybody know how to unlock this field? - We used it heavily in SRM 4.0

Hello,

Check in SPRO -> ... -> SRM -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Text Schema -> Define Text Schema.

Select shopping cart and click on "Texts for Schema".

Here you define the permissions of text schemas.

For "Schema" - SC shopping cart,

We default have 3 entries:

ITXT Supplier text

NOTE Internal Note

NOTM Approval Note

For all these three entries i tried to make "changeable for ALL", "copyable" and "visible for all", however the "note to approver" field remains locked...

Any other ideas?

This issue was resolved when we maintained customizing in SPRO - SRM - SRMSERVER - CROSS-APPLICATION BASIC SETTING - "DEFINE TRANSACTION TYPE".

Here we entered the text scheme for BUS2121 - Shopping cart.

The same issue goes for a problem we had when displaying PO's. Here we got error message "TEXT SCHEMA NOT FOUND"

This was also resolved in "define transaction type"

Which support pack you are working on?

Seems to be a program error in Standard SAP Code, look for OSS message for your support pack level otherwise send it to SAP
