Hi Veena
You can download the files from service market place.
For steps on installation/upgrade please refer to te MDM 7.1 installation guide.
Unlike MDM 5.5, MDM 7.1 installation is done via universal Installer SAPInst.exe which is a separate GUI and this can be also downloaded from SMP.
Below thread is on similar topic, should help you-
Hope this helps-Ravi

Hey Deepak,
We were talking about version of MDM and its Components. So, please do not mix version strategy of MDM business content with MDM Version strategy.
Your statement could be correct for naming of MDM business content, but was not correct for identifying MDM Clients version.

Shiv
Hi Bala,
The 7.1.XX.YY represents
YY is usually called as build version.
This is not true, YY is not called Build. Build is complete (7.1.XX.YY).
This is related to patches(hotfix) which provides bug fixing information. Patches deliver high-priority bug fixes. Deploying a Patch will not require a repository upgrade and may be applied to individual components. Patches may be backed out to an earlier Patch within the same Patch level. Software components from the same Patch will generally work together. In special cases, software components from a later Patch will require some software components to be at a minimum Patch in order to work together properly.
All components within the same SP level (e.g. 7.1.03.YY) are compatible. For example, if there was a fix in MDM Import Server (MDIS) there is no need to upgrade the MDM server, or any other component.
For more information please refer SAP Notes:
Note 1481741 - MDM Patch (hotfix) process information
Note 1345858 - Collaboration of MDM 7.1 ver. - Software Versioning Strategy

Hi Shiv,
I could navigate to this path.......
SMP--> Support Packages and Patches --> Entry by Application Group -->
SAP NetWeaver and complementary products -->
Not able to see the below MDM navagational path below.
SAP MDM --> SAP NETWEAVER MDM 7.1
do you think something is wrong with my access ? or any different path?
Thnx,
Ve
Hi Veena,
If you are not able to see the link SAP MDM that means your ID doesn't have sufficient rights to download the MDM installables.
Check with Super user who has complete rights to download MDM Installables.
Please find similar thread with same issue.
Kindly mark thread as answered if this solves your query.

Hi Veena,
Current MDM version available is MDM 7.1 SP05.
Scheduled upcoming MDM version as per my understanding would be MDM 7.2 not MDM 7.3
In console help, you can check the build number of MDM.
1st four characters tells about the version and Support package and last three letters are not exactly Patch.
It means that you are on MDM 7.1 SP00
Yes, you can download it from Service Market Place if you have access and right to download MDM.
Please refer similar thread to check path to download MDM :
Also check this link where you can get everything about MDM 7.1, Please refer MDM upgrade guide which you need to follow. https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/installMDM71
@ Deepak, See i am using MDM Server Build (7.1.03.69) that does not mean i am using Patch 69,
You can check [SAP Note 1425021|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1425021] where Patch is 19 not 69
