SAPGUI for HTML is in haning status

Dear All,

We are unable to open the SAP GUI for HTML

following is the URL

http://FQDN:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=200

This URL prompted me to provide the username and password , but after it is in hanging status.

Could you please guide me what actions i have to take to use the option SAPGUI for HTML

Lets start from the basics... does all the services active in SICF?, whats browser are you using?, can you see any errors in dev_icm?... are the paremeters set correctly??...

Hello purnachender,

To solve that problem if your webgui service has already been activated as well as mimes, launch the transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL in the backend.

It should solve it.

upgrade your browser and try. or try with another browser other than IE.

Hi Yuvaraj,

There is no error, It is hanging with the display : SAP GUI FOR HTML, and does not moving further. Do we need to install SAPGUI for HTML also for opening of the SAP through webgui?

No installation is required in the client side for webgui. A browser will do.

Yes JVM is instaleld on this server, but still we are having this issue..
