XI Phases

Hi,

What are all different phases in XI Development. i am on XI Technical side. Just want to know about phases.

Somebody told me that their project is on <b>Realization phase</b>, what is that mean?

Hi,

Any Project goes throught the following phases:

1. Blueprint

2. Design phase

3. Realisation phase (development phase)

4. Testing (Unit testing, integration testing, system testing, User acceptance testing)

5. Go live

6. Post go live support

7. Maintenance

Different project might have varitaion of the above step.

do you mean, in case of XI, Realisation phase is a phase where we actually design our Scenarios ( i think thats where role of XI Technical comes in picture, if i am not wrong).

I.e Integration Directory, datatypes creation, mappings etc etc..

  3.1.a Maintain Products and S/W components
  3.1.b Maintain Technical Systems
  3.1.c Maintain Business Systems
 3.2 Design
  3.2.a Scenario & Interface Design
  3.2.b Mapping Program
 3.3 Configuration
  3.3.a Configure Scenarios
  3.3.b Configure Adapters.
