Hi,

Thanks,I freshely installed sap server (with SID:SMP),installation was successfully completed.

Iam having another sap server(with SID:EIA),i took the completed backup of EIA Server.

Now i restored the EIA back up in SMP server through DBMGUI with Recovery option, its shoing restoration was successfull.

After restoration, with SMPADM : sap will starting successfully, but dispatcher is not running iam unable to connect sap server.

- Did you do a Restore only or "Restore with initialization"?

- Did you load the system tables after the restore was done?

- Could you bring up the database normally?

Hello,

Please see the SAP note 1014782.

If you used backup and recovery to perform a homogeneous system copy of a MaxDB database instance,

Please follow recommended steps of SAP Note 129352< pay attention to c),d) and e) steps >.

Please login as smpadm to the server millprod and run:

R3trans u2013d

and post output.
