Hi all,
is it possible to restrict the number of batch processes that can be used by one single user?
So that for example one user may not use more than 3 batch processes simultaneously?
Regards
Davor
Hi There;
Go to Tcode RZ10, edit your instance profile. Look for a parameter rdisp/wp_no_btc, this is the one. Last time I needed the opposite way, I increased from 1 to 3 to solve the problem that I opened a thread in this forum (ods activation in process chain).
Regards. Jen.
PS: please don't forget to log off, log on again before it becomes effective.

rdisp/wp_no_btc, this is the one
Oh no.
No, this is not what Davor asked about.
It is the number of all batch processes.
But what will you do, if you need let's say 10 batch processes, but one single user should not be allowed to use more than 3 out of these 10, so that other users also will have a fair chance?
And moreover, Jen, it wouldn't suffice to log off and on. You would have to restart SAP in order to make a change effective.
Davor,
unfortunately, for all I know there is no such way in SAP.
regards
