running but could not connect to message server

Hi

I have installed a solution manager system and it is not starting as the dispatcher.exe turns yellow and status turns "running but could not connect to message server" and then everything stops. Can anyone please help?

You may not get appropriate help unless you provide your system details. But if it is oracle then check your database/listener is up and running and then start SAP.
