G'day Team,

The client would like to filter further than Location number for next release, on the Distribution Definition; Publication.

Can you please advise whether an additional secondary filter table that can be attached through a key (such as Resource & Product), to the existing standard Publication table. View: /SAPAPO/CIFDSTRV > Table: /SAPAPO/CIFDISTR & /SAPAPO/SYSDIR

Further can you please advise the BADi / User exit (on the outbound APO CIF) that would be reference when having a further filter criteria than Resource / Product?

Hi Andrew,

Enhancement of Distribution Definition is not possible in my knowledge. Instead what you can consider is enhance APO Outbound Exit APOCFPIP. There are multiple components available in this Exit - EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_IP_002 or EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_IP_007 should be useful. Ideally for a certain condition (additional publication setting filter as required by you) you can identify the orders and remove them from structure /SAPAPO/CIFKEYDEST which means no order matching the filter goes to ECC.

Note you need to also activate and put suitable code in your Delta Report BADI so that for this filter criteria Delta Reconciliation is not carried out (it would show missing in ECC)
