Hi Experts,
Can we move the Organisation structure from DEV to Quality to Production?
If yes, I believe that we have to change backend details at some areas.
Please any one provide procedure and precautions for doing this, In general how we have to proceed?
Thanks
Reshma

If yes then plz let me know the details.

Hello Reshma,
See program documentation from PFAL transaction (ALE distribution of HR Master Data).
You will need:
- an evaluation path,
- a distribution models for sender DEV > receiver QUAL and sender QUAL > receiver PROD for correct message type.

Hi
Couple of scenarios here
If you have HR-SRM Integration for organization structure, try to keep your SRM dev, quality and production systems in sync with corresponding systems in HR
If you have locally maintained Org structure in SRM, it is advisable to maintain the org structure locally in each system(dev, quality and production). Although you have an option to set up ALE interface with correct message types to transfer org structure from Dev--> Quality Quality --> Production

Hi Reshma,
I think that Organization structure in SRM is treated like a master data and so is client specific. So, it has to be created in each client individually.
I'll watch this thread to see if someone knows how to transport the Org Data.

Ancy
