SMD Setup: No Java Nodes defined below the Instance...

The SolMan was an upgrade from SPS17 to EhP1 SPS24.

Managed Systems --> Setup Wizard

The setup is successful, but I see a red light with the message: "No Java

Nodes defined below the Instance..."

In the Introscope Agent Setup then I see no java nodes.

In the "END-TO-END ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS SYSTEM LANDSCAPE SETUP GUIDE SAP

Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1" , I can not find a solution.

What are the correct SMSY settings of technical systems?

Are there any naming conventions? The naming conventions of the F1-help, I've tried.

The data come from the SLD, I have also maintained manually

Thanks

Thanks Shyam,

Note 1283307 is obsolet.

The data transfer is done via the sld, the landscape_fetch job runs.

Dispatcher Node 15730100 of SST on rd-ssst0 01 Dispatcher rd-ssst0

Central Service Instance 00 of SST on rd-ssst0 00 SCS Instance rd-ssst0

rd-ssst0_SST_01 01 Instance Server rd-ssst0

I see no J2EEServer. The software components are correct.

F1-Help of instance says:

This field contains the name of an instance.

There is a naming convention depending on the use of the instance. The cases in which the naming convention applies are:

J2EE server:

'J2EESERVER_<server name>_<instance key>', e.g.: 'J2EESERVER_server1_01'

But that also does not work.

Hi,

check if Note 1283307 has been implemented.

Check wether the SMSY Java instances infomation are synchroized with SLD.

SLD is mandatory in Ehp1 so the information in SMSY should come from the SLD. Plesae check note 1148028 for more information.

1148028 Setup SLD in the scope of Solution Manager 7.0

To resolve the issue about "java node", you should change the mode of data transfer to using SLD, then run the landscape_fetch.

Regards,

Shyam
