Hi All,

Even I am getting the same problem. When I try to upload the tif file using se78

Im getting

'TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file '.

I think the file I am using compression level is 4. But SAP is expecting compression level 6.

So my question is there any way that we can convert this file in a format that SAP can understand? If anybody is using any freeware pls do let me know. I know SAP can understnad only certain tif formats.

Also it is possible for the .tif file contains multiple pages, we will be able to print it(using read_text/print_text) ?

Assume that we cannot convert tif file format without using other external software, can we import the .tif file into smart form like a image & try to create the form & print it???

Pls help if anybody has any sample tif6 file, pls share.

Thanks,

Sarma

You should use Photoshop to convert the pic into tiff.

I have had trouble uploading TIF graphic files to SAP. I think it has to do with whether the TIF is using compression or not. I think many times it automatically is compressed. I have used a freeware program called IRFANVIEW to save files with options such as "no compression".

One way to test the success of this is to use SE78 to upload the TIF. If it works there, it should work in your program. If not, it will give you an error message.
