In our media system I created product kit and issue mix for the media items. I assigned a weekly magazine to a newspaper.
The issue mix is generated for the specific issue of the newspaper (newspaper-20100826).
I can do the SQP and save quantities for the newspaper issue.
However, the quantities for the inserted magazines are not shown in the SQP for the magazine, and also not reflected in PQP.
What would be the normal way to have the quantities available in the SQP for the subitem (the magazine) of an issue mix.

You need to be able to plan at the issue mix level for both the SOP and POQP, as each issue mix represents a combination of the planning issue with its sub componants.
The field should already be available in JKSD07n as it is already available in the RJKSDDEMANDCHANGE_ALV1. structure. ( media issue mix)
see :
spro/sap Media/ media sales and distribution/ press distribution/sales planning/ sales plan/planning structure/define applications/
I also see it for the POQP in the default RJKSDORDERBOOK_ALV_DEFAULT_01 structure.
see :
spro/sap Media/ media sales and distribution/ press distribution/purchase planning/planning structure/define applications/
You should also be able to see the planning quantities and drill into the SOP from the JVSD12 transaction.
Let me know if this helps.
regards,
Henry

Thanks for your reply. The strange thing is the field 'mix' is not filled in JKSD07N. However, in JVSD12 you see it for the main product, and the quantities are also filled there.
If from the SQP sales orders are created, the subitems are created with the correct quantities.

SO, I'm still wondering what I'm missing.
If I start SQP for the subproduct, all quantities are zero.

Hello Bert,
Sorry for the delay, was travelling.
Please use the transaction JKSD07N_CHARINDEX - Update Characteristics to update the characteristics in the JKSD07N.
Let me know if this works,
Henry

Hi,
been away for a while also.
I generated new issuemixes, and in JVSD12 they are assigned correctly I think:
[JVSD12|http://www.onzehuisjes.nl/image/jvsd12-new.bmp].
I ran JKSD07_CHARINDEX
still in JKSD07N, I don't see the mix for the contracts:

I don't know what I miss (probably a stupid little thing).

Bert
