Failed to load vm properties from File System - SMD 7.11

Hi,

Installing diagnostics agent 7.11 on managed system NW CE 7.10..

After installing the agent, I see the below errors on SMDAgentapplication.log.. I don't see the instance.properties.vmprop

file in NW CE 7.10 installation..

Managed system - NW CE 7.10 on Sun solaris 5.10 and Oracle 10.2.0.4

Solman - Ehp1 7.01 SPS22

Hello Suresh,

The introscope setup will NOT work for 7.10 systems. It works for 7.0x and for 7.11+ but not for 7.10, because of the APIs available with the 7.10 J2EE engine.

Therefore, you should completely disregard this error. and you should only use the introscope setup wizard to get the parameters to copy and paste into your configtool.

This behaviour is not blocking, just a limitation in this version.

It is documented in transaction solman_workcenter

- > Managed System Configuration

- > Select the Technical System

-> Go to step "Wily Introscope Configuration"

-> Open the IMG Documentaiton of the link "Adjust NW 7.1 parameters"
