Adapters in grey status in Runtime workbench

Former Member

Hi All,

I have a query related to the status of Adapters in Runtime workbench.Currently the status of all the adapters in the runtime workbench is Grey colour.

I have done the following:

1)Try to reimport the SAP_BASIS content 6.40

2)Tried to change something in adapter and then activated it again

3)Checked the adapter engine cache through sxi_cache and refreshed it.

4)Checked the sender agreement correctness.

5)Checked whther file adapter is activated or not.

Problem still persists.

Question : Can some body suggest what else I should do to rectify the error.

Thanks & Regards

Prabhat

Hi Prabhat,

please try the following link as workaround:

http://servername:port/AdapterFramework/monitor/adaptermonitor.jsp

I hope this is a help for you...

Kind regards

Chris

hi,

for some adapters (like SOAP and some other)

grey status means that the adapter didn't receiver any message yet

as soon as the very first message will flow

through the adapter it will change it's status

so I suggest running one of your flows

and checking again

michal

Hi,

Like mentioned by Michal. When your Adapter are in gray, it implies, that the category of Adapters have not had any mesage flow at all.

just trigger the interface that contains any of these adapters and you will see the change of color to either read or green depending on the actual status.

Hi,

Please can you go to Visual Administrator and stop and restart the adapters again.
