Hi all,
The transport released are running for a very long time and even after deleting it from SAP and OS level(tp.ex) once we re-import the condition is same.
In logs it is showing the following error:
Trace File of External Event Raiser (Level=0, Append=1)
EventID: SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
SAP message server host: <hostname>
SAP message server service (new): 3900
SAP message server service (old): sapms<SID>
ERROR ***: MsSndTypeOnce, rc = -9
ERROR ***: Event raise failed
ERROR ***: MsSndTypeOnce, rc = -20
ERROR ***: Event raise failed
I checked with the note 449270, but the configuration suggested in the note is already maintained.
Kindly Suggest the possible ways to resolve this and let me know if any further information is required..
Thanks and Regards,
Piyush

Hi Piyush,
Probably you need to delete the entry rdisp/msserv_internal from your profile and bounce the system.... !
All the best !

Hi Prateek and all,
After analyzing we found that the port 3600 which is meant for Message Server and should be used by only one process.
But in my case two process were using the port , and since event triggered when a transport is releaed has to go through MS they would have got confused resulting into hung state for transports, we deleted one which was there after the SAP was started, and then everything back to normal.
Thanks again.
Piyush
