Message - "Log on is being prepared"

Hello,

i have a small problem starting a WD4A application (testing from SE80 works fine).

Problem is starting the app within internet explorer. I put the URL into the address bar and following the message "Log on is being prepared" will be shown. And thats all.

URL-Structure : http://xxxxx.xxxxx.xx:PORT/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/xxxxxxxxxx

Any idea for a solution.

Hi Sven,

I'm guessing that this has something to do with your SSO environment. When you test a WDA app through SE80 it actually creates a ticket in your browser before launching the application so that the application can sign on as you to your current system. When you just use the URL this ticket doesn't exist and you need to log on...

Going for a totally long shot - it may be that some standard services that are used by the log on screen aren't active if SICF - but I'm really not sure what they would be or even if the login screen uses ICF services.
