You can use CCMS to monitor the status of your instances with MTE SAP_SI_InstanceStatusOverview and configure the auto-reaction method to send you alerts.

Hi Manmohan,
It basically checks whether servers are logged on to the msg server. Displays a list of application servers that have registered themselves with the SAP message server.
But the functionality you are trying to configure that can be best achieved through CCMSPing.
Please find two usefull link on this :-

Unfortunately I don't have any ready screen-shots available with me (from one of my earlier projects) at present.
But please check the following .pdf file which explains almost all configuration areas of CCMSping and it contains many self explanatory screen-shots too. Hope it can help you.

Hello Manmohan,
All SAP Help documentation is 'practical' and easy to understand.
If you still need detailed documentation, I suggest that you search on the SDN for article library documents
One such document on CCMSPing is:
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/1a3f9790-0201-0010-3382-b7a5e1cc98aa
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Siddhesh
