B2B Fully Integrated SMI setup

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I want to build a demonstration to show the fully integrated SMI process working in my own system environment. I have an SNC 7.0 and 2 "sandbox" ERP systems.

The first sandbox system is already configured as a customer system. What will be required to configure the 2nd ERP system as the supplier system. What is required/configured to enable the B2B SMI process to work with these 3 systems (messages/interfaces etc.)

Is there a pre-existing implementation guide?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, none of those are a clear implementation guide. Do SAP not have a checklist for connecting Suppliers' ERP backend to Customer's backend? What messages need to be applied and to which partner profile etc. also what settings are needed to enable the SMI B2B process.

Hi

SAP do have checklist for implementing SMI B2B integration scenario, it comes along with solution manager content.

You can refer the help file below

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/en/46/71175b3c440ad7e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm

Go to node Example: Message Flow for Supplier Managed Inventory with Replenishment Order Processing

you can find the message flow.

This is not necessarily standard process, you can modify as per your requirements.

Hi

You need to have SM system, SAP offers this product now as part of maintainance contract.

1. In your Solution Manager system, choose Tools -> SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration (transaction SOLAR02).

2. Navigate to the scenario or business process for which you want to display the configuration documentation and select it.

3. Select the Configuration tab page on the right and display the configuration description by double-clicking on the document.

You can download all the contents if you are authorized users.

Best Regards
