Hi,
Can an Info cube be Realigned and when is it realigned normally?
Thanks,
SS
Hi,
Infocubes can be re-aligned. And you need to have a similar structure to the MPOS for it to be realigned. The functionality is available in the txn /sapapo/rlgcopy.
Realignment of an infocube would be necessary if you are having a history cube, to which you are doing a delta refresh or addition of data only rather than add/change/delete.
In such scenarios, when your master data gets older they need to be realigned to be align it with the latest master data.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi SS,
You can run data realignment for InfoCubes, which have a similar
structure to the master planning object structure.
The InfoCube must contain all the characteristics that are in the
realignment table for the master planning object structure.
Data realignment is not possible for InfoCubes that use attributes.
If you only want to realign the InfoCubes and not the master planning
object structure, select the Only Realign InfoCube indicator.
