I think it cannot because CHaRM relies on STMS a lot while STMS is SAP only.
Please share your experience. Thanks!
Hi,
ChaRM basically handles on both ABAP and JAVA stack of systems. I am not sure what do you mean by non-sap systems; however if it is a java based system and is connected to solution manager system; this can be considered as a non-abap system, then this should be possible.
Kindly have a look at our expert blogs

Hope this helps.
Cheers

I would like to get an expanded answer if possible.
Suppose that my core ERP is SAP, but my WM processes are not handled in SAP, and are handled in an AS/400. Further, my web-order management is handled in a non-SAP, java-based environment. Can I use CHaRM to move changes through my enterprise landscape? Can I compile objects in my non-SAP environment and then bundle them into CHARM changes and let CHaRM move them through the appropriate systems? The bottom line question is: if I am a best-of-breed landscape, can I use SolMan, and within it, CHaRM to handle my changes? My current change request application integrates to nothing; my incident management application is also seperate. If I can integrate both processes into SolMan, I've lowered my TCO and standardized my enterprise on an integrated solution... Thoughts?
