quality inspection for equipment

Hi , At the time of goods reciept I am creating serial numbers for a material & later stage I will convert it to Equipment masters . Is it possible to inspect these serial numbers with a inspection lot generated at the time of goods receipt of material.

Its really simple,If its a material master for which it is creating serial number & if it has " QM view " ,then Inspection lot can be created.Then you can inspect

Hi , In a inspection lot is it possible to mention these serial numbers & do result recording for each serial number & decide whether to accept or not.

yes it is possible.

maintain serial number profile in MRP View/Plant storage data2/Sales view.

in quality view activate 'Serial number poss.' tick

when GR is created system will ask for serial number asign at athe time of GR.

These serial number will be copied to Inspecion lot also.

At the time of result recording u can record results with respect to serial number.

Also when u do stock posting system will ask for serial number (for unrestricted quantity and rejected quantity)
