Inspection lot creation without material code

I want to create inspection lot on material description as PO and GR is based on material description not on material code.

If it is Account assignment category is service or cost center then its possible to create PO with material description.Other Normal MRP PO I have not explored.

Well ........For creating Inspection lot you have to have material master & that too with Qm view active.

You problem can be solved by Creating "Dummy " Material master which can be used as template for such cases every time when you want such inspection lot.
