STO delivery planned GI date caused issues with ATP

Hello,

Once we create a delivery for an STO the Planned GI date is set to the in-house date (commit plus transit time).

The SAP help on the planned GI date field of the delivery states " The date on which the goods must physically leave the shipping point to reach the customer on time."

Example:

STO is commited to leave the shipping point on 08/20/2010. In-house Delivery date (date due in the requesting plant) on STO is 08/30/2010.

When the delivery is created the Planned GI date is populated with 08/30/10 rather than 08/20/10.

Where can we set what date is populated in Planned GI date

The Planned GI date is correctly populating on a sales order delivery (delv type = LF) but on a Stock Transport Order (delv type = NLCC) is where we are having the issue. The Planned GI date on the STO deliveries does not default The date on which the goods must physically leave the shipping point to reach the customer on time. Rather is it defaulting with the date it needs to be to the customer site.

Is there a different place in the config for STOs?

When creating a Replenishment delivery, system only copy the delivery date (LIKP-LFDAT) from STO.

Then , every other date (picking date, loading date, GI date, )are all calculated from FM SD_SCHEDULING.

So, what's the delivery date in that delivery?

Hi,

The planned GI date is determined from loading time + picking/pack time + transportation time.

All this settings you need to maintain at shipping point level in Logistic Execution>Shipping>Basic shipping function>Scheduling>Delivery scheduling and transportation

Once you maintain the details here system will proposed the Planned GI date based on that in delivery.

Hope this will help you !!!
