SAProuter timeout error

Hi everyone,

I have installed and started saprouter successfully. Also, I configured oss1 technical settings in our DEV system. In SM59, I tested the RFC connection of SAPOSS and it is ok. I can download sap note with SNOTE.

But, in our PRD system, connection test of SAPOSS RFC connection gives this error.

telnet the saprouter from your production box in port 3299 to see if theres a problem with the network/firewall

Hi,

As your DEV server is able to connect to the SAPRouter service, I suppose that there should be a problem in the network(firewall/anti virus). Check whether the settings of ur firewall/anti virus program stops the RFC call from ur Production server to the saprouter.

Try to ping the SAPRouter from ur production server and also check whether u r able to resolve the IP/Host name of the saprouter from the production server. If not, enter the host details in the etc/hosts file of ur production server.
