Please I am Stuk in : 503 Service Unavailable

Dear All,

I am getting the following error.

<b> 503 Service Unavailable

Application stopped.

Details: You have requested an application that is currently stopped</b>

But for this I have restarted the SAPMMC -Instances

and in visual admin I have checked all the services are working fine.

I have done OS level restart also but I am getting same error. while opening the following link.

<b>http://<Host>:<Port>/rep/start/index.jsp</b>

Please help out...I am realy Frustrated because of this.

Any way to recitfy this probs

Dear jithesh ,

I am not getting this Service Unavialable error in Adapter Engine.

I am facing this problem in starting the Index page it-self .

Can U give the solution for this.

Hi,

Looks like your J2ee engine is down.

Try restarting the J2ee engine.

No .. I have checked ... J2EE engine are running ,

Instances are runnig in "SAP MMC" and I have checked in Viual Admin also.

Now I have made OS restart...(Server level) .. I 'll try this and mail U...

Hi ,

Do check the services in the visual admin . specially the web dynpro services .

if not all are started stop them and restart them all

hope this works

Hi Danab,

We Started to get this error from July 14th 2006. Did you get any resolution ? We are stuck. We are running on AIX. Dev is fine. the problem is w/ QA.

Consider this as urgent

How do you access the problem link:

http://<Host>:<Port>/rep/start/index.jsp ?

I mean do you first go tcode sxmb_irf then click repository

OR

You type directly into the browser http://<Host>:<Port>/rep/start/index.jsp ?

Please let me know because I once had the same issue

but it's gone for some reason.

I have followed the instruction mentioned in the PDF.

I have started the applications in Visual Admin.

But still I am getting the Error. Will it take for some time ?
