Independent KA order (Consignment Pick-up)

Our users did a mistake by creating consignment pick-up (KA) without referring to the original consignment fill-up (KB). These orders involve serialized materials. The link between the KB and KA is thus lost. The KB is seen to be open and the goods are assumed still at customer's place.

Is there a way to link back these 2 orders, KB and KA? Or what would be the appropriate approach to tie the KA to KB to complete the flow?

Any hints would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Ideal way to follow this process is maintain copy control as follows:-

a) KB to LF in VTLA for Consignment Fillup

b) LF to F8 in VTFL for Consignment Fillup

c) F8 to KE in VTAF for Consignment Issue

d) KE to LF in VTLA for Consignment Issue

e) LF to F2 in VTFL for Consignment Issue

With the above copy controls, the materials would be moved from delivering plant to warehouse and warehouse to end customer.

The next stage is Consignment Pickup. Here you should have copy controls as follows:-

a) F8 to KA in VTAF

b) KA to LF in VTFL

With the above, you should understand that the pick up order should be created referencing the F8 Proforma and not the KB order.

Hi,

Even if the user has done KA without refering the KB Order, still he can pick only the available Consignment stock only.

But, if you want to get the reference, then I think, it is not possible now.

You need to cancel the Pick-up process and again create KA Order with reference to KB.

In future, make the KB Order as manadatory for creating the KA Order in the Sales document details screen (VOV8), in the "Reference Mandatory" field.
