Hi,
Is it possible to default a UoM, per ORder type?
e.g. if Order Type is OR => UoM is always CS
If Order Type is RE => UoM is always PC

Maintain customer material info record.Do config for respective sales order type for Read info record in VOV8.
forsetting of material,s Unit of measure (UoM)
Use tcode: MM02 for the default UOM to use in sales order
in Sales:sales org1 TAB - in general data - fill with SET infront of Base unit of measure.

if ur using base and sales unit differently then pls maintain the conversion factor in mm02.As soon as you enter a different sales unit of measure system gives a message to specify the conversion factor.Pls try this and check whether it works.
