Dear Mangesh,

do you have installed the latest available version of the ECL Viewer 6.0 correctly?

At the moment you can download the latest ECL Viewer 6 from the SAP Service Marketplace as explained in note 1431454.

Before you install this ECL Viewer version please get sure that there is not implemented a former version in your system already. Therefore I would like to ask you, to uninstall your former ECL Viewer before you installed Version 6? To check if the ECL Viewer is un-installed please search for WebViewer2d.dll file. If it is present then it means ECL Viewer is still installed on your PC. You can also check the folders and should be able to see all the dll's for ECL Viewer such WebViewer3d.dll/Printing.dll etc to make sure that there is not only single file but the whole installation.

Generally there are two possibilities to un-install the ECL Viewer:

- Uninstall the version integrated with SAP GUI by using SAP

Installation scripts. You need to uncheck the 'EAI Viewer' component in 'General Add-on' option.

- Check add/remove program and if there is an entry like SAP Viewer, uninstall it.

After this search again, and you should not get WebViewer2d.dll file on machine. Now reinstall the latest Viewer and test the display of TIF files again please.

Best regards,

Christoph

+Dear Christoph,

Thanks for your reply. I have made the settings. But I have mentioned the "%AUTO%" Instead of

"EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%". I dont want to view in ECL Viewer as client wants in full view as the need to view all pages very fast . One tiff file can contain 10 to 15 pages.

Request you to please guide.

Dear MANGESH PANDE

in Windows 7.0 some time there is a little bit of authorization problem occurs...

so pls. give full authorization to C/:Temp from your *Admin User * of your PC.

Pls also check that .... your user must not be a in format of "User.01" means there is No "." in User name

then follow ur update procedure....

After that You must check with Admin User of your PC

As you are unable to view your files using %Auto% option, try to invoke and use Ghostscript to view your TIFF files. Your IT system admin may help you on this.

Hi Mangesh,

Lets try reverse engineering. See if the file exists in C"|temp directory or not. if it exists then try to open it with Office viewer.

Please share the result.

I think that file may not be available in the mentioned directory and hence viewing is failing.

Hi Mangesh,

This happened due to installation not done properly. Kindlyreinstallthe SAP GUI and viewer with patch.

Second point please check whether you have defined suffix three characters (e.g.tif,tff ect.) properly in DC30.

I hope this will help.

The config seems to be in line. Good possibility that the ECL viewer may be corrupted. Re-install the latest version of SAP GUI(ECL viewer is part of it by default) and re-test the scenario.
