Did you mean:

You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1).

Dear SAP,

I do have an authrorization problem. I have created a Trusted RFC between my BI system (D13) and my SAP Solution Manager system (P35).

I have created SM_P04CLNT100_TRUSTED RFC in D13. When I test it, it works, when I start the authorizations test,

I get this error :

You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1).

This is a a very well know error. I have added to my user a role with S_RFC and S_RFCACL authorisation object.

I have generated the role. It works,

D13 is the trusting system of P35 (Trusted system). There is no problem.

This is amazing because creating a trusted RFC from ECC, SRM, CRM and PI to SAP Solution Manager works perfectly.

IMPORTANT : I only have this authorizations error for ALL BI (Dev, Qual, Prod) SAP systems.

Best regards

PC

Dear Manoj,

Thanks for your input.

But I only have problems to created Trusted RFC from BI SAP system to Solman.

It perfectly works for all other SAP product (ECC, SRM, CRM, PI, ...) to Solman.

Have you tried using the assistant in SMSY?... It should create the trusted connection

Juan,

I am talking about SM_P04CLNT100_TRUSTED from D35 (BI system) to P35 (SOLMAN).

SMSY assistant creates RFC from SOLMAN to the managed system (D35).

Hi,

You have to add the systems in SMT1. Did you add your BI system in solman? If not please do so.

Vamshi.

Juan,

1. From D13 - BI Managed system

STM1 - P35 (Solman) is created asap trusted system and reachable without any errors.

2. From P35 - SOLMAN

SMT2 - D13 is crated as Trusting system.

3. From D13 - I have assigned role Z_RFC_ALL to my user.

To rorle Z_RFC_ALL, I have added 3 authorizations objects :

S_RFC

S_RFCACL

S_RFCADM

When I test the SM_P35CLNT100_TRUSTED from D13 :

1. Test connection - it works

2. Test conection - authorization test, I get the following error :

You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1).

I do have this error to connect ALL BI SAP Systems to SOLMAN (P35).

I have created, generated and assigned Z_RFC_ALL role to my user in all ECC, SRM, CRM and PI systems.

All trusted RFC from these systems works perfectly. Except from all BI SAP Systems.

If its only a problem with one of your systems, I have a feeling that could be a problem with password compatibility?... Whats the version of your BI / Solman systems?

check parameter login/password_downwards_compatibility

Juan,

Solman - P35

login/password_downwards_compatibility = 1

Version : SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0

Kernel : 55

BI - D13

login/password_downwards_compatibility =1

Version : SAP NetWeaver 2004s

Kernel : 185

For BI SAP System, we plan to upgrade to EHP1.

Juan,

This is not only with one system. I have this problem with all 5 BI Systems.

We do manage mainly 2 customers.

Both of them have ECC and BI SAP systems.

I can use a trusted RFC from ECC (6 systems), Pi (3 systems), SRM (3 systems) and CRM (3 systems) to SOLMAN without any problems.

But from my 5 BI SAP systems (2 dev, 1 QAS, 2 PRD), I cannot use any Trusted systems to SOLMAN.

I have created for all SAP system the same Z_RFC_ALL roles (with S_RFC and S_RFCACL authorizations objects).

And I only have error to start a trusted RFC from all 5 BI SAP Systems to SOLMAN.

Hi,

May be this is very basic, but I wanted to make sure that u have configured the firewall in your SAP BI systems in such a way that it allows the RFC connections.

Also check whether ur SolMan can resolve the BI hosts and the vice versa.

Dear all,

I have finally resolved the issue by this way :

1. From SOLMAM, I have removed the managed system in through SMT1 transaction.

2. I have recreated the managed system through SMT1 transaction in SOLMAN.

3. Then, I have re-created Trusted RFC in SM_P04CLNT100_TRUSTED in the managed system.

And now it perfectly works.

Thanks to all for your input.

Hello,

You need to check the parameter "snc/r3int_rfc_secure" in RZ11. If it's value is 1, it means RFC connection is automatically SNC enabled.

When we click on dialog instance in SM51, session is established using its own RFC. Also, check if the same RFC is SNC enabled or not ?
