Dear Ram,

Go to WE60 >in Basic type you give ORDERS5 and click HTML format...once you get into the documentation screen you click on Idoc type-IORDERS05 Idocs, International Location Number is provided in segment

E1EDKA3 ( a sub-segment of E1EDKA1) with field name "STDPN'

Or go to We19----in Basic type you give ORDERS5 click on create(F8)--You click on E1EDKA1> you will get E1EDKA3-and double on that.

Hope this will help you..

Dear Ram,

Here you enter the first 7 digits of the international location number.

The International Location Number (ILN) is assigned (in Germany by the Centrale for Coorganisation GmbH)) when a company is founded. It consists of 13 digits, the last digit being the check digit. There are two categories of location numbers:

Participants who only need an ILN to cleary and unmistakably identify themselves for communication with the business partner are given a category 1 ILN. This cannot be used to identify articles by means of EAN.

Participants who wish to assign the location numbers for their own enterprise areas are given a category 2 ILN. For a category 2 ILN, digits 1 to 7 are described as basis number. This is used as basis for the creation of article numbers (EAN).

Hi,

ILN - International location number

GLN - Global Location Number

Both GLN and ILN mean the same.

Definition from SAP help

The Global Location Number (GLN), which is also called the International Location Number (ILN), uniquely identifies a

physical, functional, or legal entity. Such entities must be identified:

ILN figures in the customer Master: IL number is maintained in the following fields of

customer master-control data: Location No.1, Location No.2 and Check Digit.

In ORDERS01- ORDERS05 Idocs, International Location Number is provided in segment

E1EDKA3 ( a sub-segment of E1EDKA1) with field name "STDPN'.

Raj
